Nail Tutorial: Minty Heart Shaped Nails

Never been a huge fan of green, but mint green is a different story!! Super niceee!!!

You have no idea how excited I am when things come in mint green, I literally will buy it even if I don’t really know if I will use it!!

So when I saw this cute minty nail polish by Skinfood, I could not help myself! And only $2.50!!! The consistency was quite thick, and you need 2 coats for it to look nice. Sometimes it is a bit too thick that it looks streaky, so I had to get it on quickly before it got a bit tacky.

The pink I chose was Strawberry Margarita from OPI, and was a great polish to use because the color pay off was so good. It’s important to choose a pink that has a great colour pay off, since doing 2 coats of the heart design will be super hard and probably look a bit messy.
Also the dotting tool can be easily replaced with the round part of the end of a bobby pin, and I also used the back of my paint brush ok..not too bad. Don’t use a straw or anything with a hole in the middle, just makes weird dot outlines…
The right hand was a bit harder to do but I think it’s very possible. Because some nail designs I look and go wow can only do on one hand cos I’m pretty unco….hard enough to do properly on my left hand (I’m right handed). But I did it so I think you guys can very easily too 🙂
I hope you guys try it :)!!! Please tag me on instagram and hashtag #wengie if you take a pic of it ^^ (just in case I miss the mention because sometimes that happens when my instagram feed moves too quick)

TUTORIAL

I really enjoyed looking at my hands after this tutorial :)!! It was like soo cute everytime I look down hahaha sooo happy! I normally really hate my “man hands” but this design made it look very pretty and cute.
Hope you guys enjoyed this video :)!!
